Whale & Dolphin Safari from Oban
Argyll Charters specialises in scenic, wildlife cruises in the Sound of Mull and around the islands in the Firth of Lorn Special Area of Conservation. In these waters we have a wealth of marine mammals such as basking sharks, minke whale, dolphins, porpoise as well as several common seal colonies and a huge range of bird life from sea eagles and golden eagles to guillemots and herring gulls.
Be privileged to watch these fascinating wild animals in their natural environment, where if we are patient and respectful, they can provide us with many photo-opportunities. We take care to
minimise disturbance to wild animals at all times.

Wildlife
We take great care to minimise disturbance to animals but can still enjoy observing a diverse range of both marine and bird life. There can be no guarantee of seeing any particular species, however, depending on the season, there are sightings of minke whale, basking sharks, dolphins, porpoise common and grey seals, golden and sea eagles and a variety of sea birds including gannets, guillemots, razorbills, great northern divers, shearwaters, terns, cormorants, shags, herons, greater blackbacked gulls to name but a few.
Some destinations present a chance to see red deer, highland cattle and wild goats on the shoreline.
