Dolphins viewed from Mara Mhor
Wildlife
In these waters we have a wealth of marine mammals and a huge range of bird life. Depending on the season, there can be sightings of basking sharks, dolphins, porpoise, common seals, otters and occasionally minke whale. The diverse range of sea birds includes sea eagles, gannets, guillemots, razorbills, great northern divers, shearwaters, terns, cormorants, common shags, herons and greater black backed gulls to name but a few.

We take great care to minimise disturbance to animals at all times but can usually, with care, get close enough to allow great photo opportunities. Some destinations present a chance to see red deer, highland cattle and wild goats on the shore.
An informative wildlife commentary is given on all cruises by the skipper/owner of Mara Mhor including points of historical/geographical interest.
Complimentary tea/coffee and shortbread are provided on cruises longer than 1 hour.
